The Physics Test (Cycle 3 – Grade 9–12) evaluates teachers’ advanced knowledge of fundamental physics principles, mathematical applications, and scientific reasoning required for secondary-level instruction. The test ensures educators can effectively teach conceptual understanding, quantitative problem-solving, and real-world applications of physics.
1. Mechanics (40%) – 40 Questions
The largest domain; includes kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, forces, work and energy, momentum, circular motion, and gravitation.
2. Electromagnetism (20%) – 20 Questions
Covers electric fields, electric circuits, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and practical applications of electrical systems.
3. Waves and Optics (15%) – 15 Questions
Focuses on wave properties, sound waves, light behavior, reflection, refraction, lenses, mirrors, and optical instruments.
4. Modern Physics (15%) – 15 Questions
Includes atomic models, quantum theory, photoelectric effect, relativity basics, and nuclear physics concepts.
5. Thermal Physics (10%) – 10 Questions
Covers heat transfer, thermodynamics laws, temperature scales, kinetic theory of gases, and energy transformations.
We offer: Classes, Complete Course, Mock solutions, and Practice tests after each standard.
