The Chemistry Test (Cycle 3 – Grade 9–12) is designed to assess teachers’ comprehensive knowledge of secondary-level chemistry concepts, laboratory practices, and scientific problem-solving skills. The test ensures educators possess strong subject expertise necessary to teach advanced chemistry effectively.
1. Chemical Foundation (5%) – 5 Questions
Covers atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding basics, stoichiometry, and fundamental chemical principles.
2. Inorganic Chemistry (35%) – 35 Questions
The largest domain; includes periodic properties, coordination compounds, acids and bases, redox reactions, and properties of metals and non-metals.
3. Physical Chemistry (25%) – 25 Questions
Focuses on thermodynamics, kinetics, equilibrium, gas laws, solutions, electrochemistry, and energy changes in chemical reactions.
4. Organic Chemistry (20%) – 20 Questions
Includes structure and nomenclature of organic compounds, hydrocarbons, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and polymers.
5. Analytical Chemistry (10%) – 10 Questions
Covers qualitative and quantitative analysis, titration, pH calculations, laboratory techniques, and data interpretation.
6. Nuclear Chemistry (5%) – 5 Questions
Assesses knowledge of radioactivity, nuclear reactions, half-life calculations, isotopes, and applications of nuclear science.
We offer: Classes, Complete Course, Mock solutions, and Practice tests after each standard.
